Nonviolent Communication (NVC) – Giraffe Language

NVC is a communication process which aims to create and maintain an empathic connection between the parties, so that solutions are available that meet all parties’ needs.

• The process is based on both honesty and empathy.
• Every person’s needs are taken equally seriously.
• The process transforms a “culture of war” into a “culture of peace”, by supporting us to find solutions that satisfy “both you – and me”, rather than solutions that satisfy “either you – or me”.
